Reu Studio is a small architecture practice based on Awabakal land in Newcastle NSW.

The practice seeks to create architecture that fulfils the client’s aspirations and enhances everyday life within budget, while also considering its place in the community and environment.

Our work is guided by foundational principles, primarily:

• to be responsive to site conditions and client brief to find the best solutions for unique projects

• to be pragmatic in considering practical construction methods and materials throughout the design process

• to prioritise connection; to nature, family, community and self.

• to consider reduction in consumption. Critical evaluation of how we use and benefit from space can lead to better outcomes for cost, carbon footprint, quality of outdoor spaces (for yourself and native flora and fauna), and decluttering of life.
